The Garritson Building - 121 W. Sycamore
(images: older photo taken ca 1940)
Although the storefront of this building has been modified, this is a notable example of a Neoclassical-style building. The symmetrical design is common for a Neoclassical building, and the stone balustrade cornice is a special point of interest. Built by J.H. Garritson to house his wholesale grocery business in 1904.
Notable Design: Neoclassical
