1018. 618 W. Walnut - T-Plan/Queen Anne

c. 1895 Mixed shingles styles, such as fishscale (or scalloped) and saw-tooth (or pointed), in the gable end, as well as a text-book example of a Queen Anne porch, including turned columns, define this house as Queen Anne. Also note the original storm doors, wood siding, and bay window located on the side of the house. The picket fence adds unique definition to the property. (T-Plan/Queen Anne: A gable-front house with a perpendicular front portion that forms a T, is referred to as a T-Plan. Most of these house are one or one-and-a-half stories tall.)
